OG DealChain

Oil & gas · mineral rights · working interest

A&D deals and asset ops on one verified well record.

OG DealChain is the base suite: DealChain for packages, offers, and close — Asset Management for the book you operate every month. DOM and NDE attach as modules. No deal fees.

The suite

Base plus modular add-ons. Not three separate products to re-buy.

One company identity. Entitlements decide what the desk sees. DOM and NDE stay off until you add them.

Base suite

DealChain + Asset Management

Sold together. Keep a living well book — ownership, production, JIB, and revenue — then package, negotiate, and close A&D on the same record.

Product story

Add-on

Division Orders (DOM)

Drafts, mailings, transfers, and pay decks for division-order work. Not bundled into the base suite.

Product story

Add-on · bidirectional

Non-op Data Exchange (NDE)

Either entitled company can grant, send, and receive monthly well snapshots. One SKU — no separate bi-directional price.

Product story

The base suite is built for a repeatable acquire and divest playbook and a permissioned ownership audit. NDE stays a modular add-on.

Base suite · Acquire & divest

Once you've done one, you've done every one after.

Whether you are acquiring or divesting, the process is the same playbook — not a new scramble for each package. Master Data, the ownership graph, and packages sit on the book you already operate. No more pulling data the week of a divestiture.

Acquire

Diligence the living record

A buyer evaluates a package against the same facts the seller operates every month. The next acquisition is list, diligence, and close — not a one-off ZIP and a new process.

Divest

List from the book you keep

A seller packages from Master Data already on the graph. The data room is the operating record. The next disposition uses the same motion — no fire drill to assemble the book.

  • Master DataSystem of record for land and ops facts — not a deal-week dump.
  • Ownership graphWalk unit → tract → lease → well → completion. The book is navigable.
  • PackagesDeal artifacts scoped from that graph. Same playbook on every close.

This story is DealChain + Asset Management — the base suite. Monthly non-op snapshots are the NDE add-on, not this playbook.

Base suite · Shared record

Who held what, when — on a permissioned ledger.

The blockchain is not a payment rail. It is a shared audit trail of ownership so the record cannot be quietly rewritten. Companies do not have to think about the chain. They trust the shared record of who held what, and when.

On the shared record

Hyperledger Fabric holds the permissioned ownership record. At handover, working interest, operatorship, and a closing record are written there. Append-only ownership events keep the audit: who held what, when, as of an effective date. The prior owner stays on the trail. Today's holder is a projection as of a date — not a silent overwrite.

Off-chain, and readable

Deal packages and well snapshots stay off-chain — files and tables people can actually read. Production, JIB, revenue, leases, and diligence documents live in the operating book. The ledger is a shared trust layer across companies, not a data warehouse.

What this is not

Not cryptocurrency, tokens, or public-chain speculation. Not a payment rail — money still moves off-platform. Not anonymous: parties are credentialed. Monthly non-op exchange is a separate NDE add-on, not this ledger story.

Grounded in the base suite — DealChain + Asset Management — not in NDE pricing. Fabric is permissioned infrastructure for custody and audit, not a token or a public market.
